Muslims from Ruse region celebrated with qurban the restauration of the mosque in Yudelnik

The day of 29^th of October (Sunday) 2017 was a festive one for the Muslims from the village of Yudelnik, Ruse region, Municipality of Slivo pole, when the qurban on the occasion of the completion of the restauration of the local mosque took place.

Organizer of the festive qurban was Mosque’s board of trustees – village of Yudelnik. Among the official guests of the event were the Mayor of the municipality, the imams and the chairmen of the mosques’ boards of trustees in the region and many Muslims from different settlements in the Municipality of Slivo pole and Ruse region.

The Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu in his welcoming speech to all guests focused on the role and the importance of the mosque in the life of every Muslim. He took the occasion to express his gratitude to all donors who supported the restauration works in the mosque in Yudelnik.

Within the festive program on behalf of the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi Hyusnyu handed a plaque of gratitude to the Chairman of the Mosque’s Board of Trustees – Yudelnik for the activity and the assistance during the Campaign in support of the Islamic education, held by Grand Mufti’s Office.

The program ended with a dua (supplication) for health and prosperity, made by the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu after which all Muslims gathered around the table in order to taste the prepared by the hosts in Yudelnik qurban for the guests.

The festive re-opening of the mosque after the restauration was also an opportunity for the Muslims from the Ruse region to be together – close and united, like before. Because is not it exactly the mosque the place where all Muslims learn about the basics of their religion and how to perform their religious duties, how to read the Holy Qur’an and to learn it?
