Social Department of Grand Mufti’s Office welcomed in Bulgaria its partners from “Hasene” Foundation

A day before the coming of the great Muslim holyday of Eid-al Adha the Social Department at Grand Mufti’s Office welcomed in Bulgaria its guests from the charity organization “Hasene”. The benefactors from the European organization with a headquarters in the German city of Cologne are on a visit in our country on the occasion of the carried out joint qurban program with the Social Department of Grand Mufti’s Office.

In the framework of this year’s cooperation with “Hasene” during Eid-al Adha 2017 in our country will be slaughtered more than 220 animals, cattle. The meat will be in distributed in qurban packages and delivered with the help of all 20 regional mufti’s offices in the country to needy and orphans, to orphanages and families in need.

The guests from the charity organization “Hasene” and the representatives from “Social” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office Bahri Izet and the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun will divide into two delegations, which will visit the regional mufti’s offices in Northern and Southern Bulgaria. They will attend the slaughtering of some of this year’s sacrificial animals where the group for Northern Bulgaria will be led by the expert from Social Department Bahri Izet, and the delegation which will visit regional mufti’s offices in the southern part of the country – by the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun.
