Graduates of higher Islamic education gathered at a workshop meeting in Momchilgrad

 

This year for 13 consecutive time Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria organized a regular meeting of the graduates with higher Islamic education. This time it was again attended by all graduates who studied higher Islamic education in the country or abroad.

The meeting was held as a three-day workshop under the title „Disintegration of the society – reasons and consequences”. It took place within the days from 4th till 6th of August, 2017, at the base of the religious school in Momchilgrad.

Speakers were the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun, Dr. Arif Abdullah – lecturer at the New Bulgarian University and in the High Islamic Institute (HII) as well as a Chairman of the Research Center at it, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veselin Bosakov from the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at BAS and Dr. Kadir Mohamed. The topics of all lecturers were related to the general topic of this year’s workshop meeting for the disintegration of society.

 

 

 

 

 

After every lecture panel there were a lively discussion with the participation of the graduates with higher Islamic education. A special discussion on the topic “Islamic work in Bulgaria” with a moderator Halil Hodzhov was held during the last day of the annual event.

Within the event was also held a meeting of the Bulgarian Association of the Graduates with Higher Islamic Education that was established four years ago.

 

The workshop meeting of the graduates who studied higher Islamic education in the country or abroad for year 2017 was closed on Sunday and before that all participants filled out questionnaires.
