Grand Mufti hosted an official iftar with representatives of Bulgarian media

Grand Mufti’s Office gave an official iftar dinner at which were invited representatives of different print and visual media in our country. It took place on 20^th of June (Tuesda) evening in the premises of the Muslim Denomination on “Bratya Miladinovi” Str. in Sofia.

The guests were nearly 30 people, representatives of different media groups and organizations in Bulgaria. All of them were welcomed b the host, the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, who thanked them for the expressed respect and for responding to the invitation. After that the floor was given to the journalist Georgi Koritarov. On behalf of him and on behalf of the other guests he thanked Grand Mufti’s Office for the wonderful initiative and said that it could be an example for the society. The journalist added that still in the situation of the even more increasing Islamophobia such initiatives are if a great importance.

After the journalists and the representatives of the Muslim Denomination shared the iftar table, the all continued their conversations in a friendly, informal atmosphere with a cup of Turkish tea.
