Another stop of the festive Ramadan program “Awaiting the iftar” – in the city of Plovdiv
After the festive Ramadan program “Awaiting the iftar” visited a number of Bulgarian cities, among which Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo and Sliven – its fourth consecutive presentation was in the city under the hills.
The program in Plovdiv took place on 16th of June (Friday) next to “Dzhumaya mosque” in the city center of Plovdiv. It was opened by the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun – presenter of the program, who reminded all guests about the fasting in Ramadan, the benefits and the grace for the Muslim from the present month of Ramadan.
Among all guests who were nearly 150, and representatives of different ethnicities and religions, were the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv Hyuein Ergani, representative of the local authorities, employee of the Muslim Denomination and others.
The program ended with a festive iftar-dinner for all guests, which was provided by the Muslim Board of Trustees – Plovdiv.
