Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana with a traditional Ramadan iftar in the village of Popitsa
Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana gave a traditional Ramadan iftar-dinner for the Muslims in the village of Popitsa (Municipality of Byala Slatina). The iftar was organized by the Regional Mufti of Montana Nedzhati Ali and took place on 16th of June, 2017.
It was attended by nearly 80 people. Among the official guests of the Ramadan dinner were the deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, the Head of Waqf Department Osman Ibrahimov and the expert from Social Department Bahri Izet.
Greeting address to all guests was delivered by the Deputy Grand Mufti who thanked for the invitation, specially greeted the youngest, the children among the participants and wished they to fill also the organized summer Qur’an courses. Hasanov turned also with the wish the new generation Muslims in the region to become people with a potential who to fill the lacking staff in the Muslim Denomination and to work in the benefit of the local Muslim community.
Within the event all participants were reminded about the benefits of fasting and the grace of the Holy month of Ramadan. After the end of the iftar all guests parted with satisfaction and pleasure with the held meeting.
