Festive Ramadan dinner entitled “Awaiting the iftar” was held in Ruse

On the evening of 12^th of June (Monday) this year in the city of Ruse took place a festive Ramadan program with iftar dinned which was held under the title “Awaiting the iftar”. The organization was done by Grand Mufti’s Office and the iftar was provided by the charity association “DenizFeneri”.

Among the official guests of the event were the Deputy Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Birali Myumyun who also led the program, Dr. Ismail Dzhambazov and representatives of “DenizFeneri”. The audience of all guests numbered nearly 120 people who were from the city of Ruse and the villages on the territory of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse.

In the delivered welcoming speeches the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu expressed his gratitude to Grand Mufti’s Office and to the guest-association “DenizFeneri” for the jointly implemented project. The guests from Turkey shared that Bulgaria is one of the 80 countries in the world where during this year’s month of Ramadan the association gives traditional iftar dinners and distributed humanitarian packages to the needy.
