Working meeting with imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven was held

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held a regular working meeting with the imams from the region on 23^rd of May, 2017 (Tuesday). It took place at the premises of the Muslim Board of Trustees – Sliven.

Within the meeting for the month of May were discussed issues related to the summer Qur’an courses for children in Sliven region. The imams commented on how to be more active during the upcoming month of Ramadan. The recruitment for candidate-students for the secondary religious schools in the country and candidate-students for the High Islamic Institute in Sofia were other of the topics included on the agenda of the held meeting.

During the working meeting the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven discussed also the problems which they face in their work in the regions, as well as the needs they have in their work as religious leaders.

The Regional Mufti of the city of Sliven Akif Akifov clarified the questions of the imams and informed the participants about the benefits of the workshops organized by Grand Mufti’s Office.
