The sacred birth of the Prophet (pbuh) was marked with a full-day program in Gotse Deplchev

In the framework of the Week of the sacred birth of the Prophet (pbuh) – Kutlu Dogum 2017, in Gotse Delchev was organized a full-day festive program. It took place on 23^rd of April, 2017 (Sunday) at the square of the hamlet “Komsala” in Gotse Delchev. Host of the event was the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed. Among  the official guests of the event were the Deputy Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Birali Myumyun, the Deputy Mufti of Blagoevgrad Ali Hodzha, imams and representatives of Muslim boards of trustees in Blagoevgrad region.

The festive program was opened by the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad and was held under the title “Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave”. Birali Myumyun, Aydan Mohamed and Ali Hodzha delivered to the gathered audience a lecture in which the Deputy Grand Mufti announced the coming the Night of Mir’aj and urged the Muslims to recall the events which happened this night and their importance for the life of the Muslims.

This year also, already as a tradition for Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad, the celebration of Kutlu Dogum was combined with performance of circumcision.

The festive program was closed by the host Aydan Mohamed who made a dua (supplication) for health and happiness of the youngest Muslims who were circumcised during that Sunday.

For all guests of the celebration was prepared a festive meal, provided by the Muslim Board of Trustees – Gotse Delchev.
