Workshop for basic knowledge in Islam was held in Rudozem

     On 15^th and 16^th of April, 2017 was held a workshop for women in the base at the central mosque in the town of Rudozem. The event was organized by the Muslim Denomination. The women who took part in it were from the town of Gotse Delchev and were at the age of about 50-60 years old.

Lecturer during the workshop[ was Myumine Sherifova – vaiz (preacher) at Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan. With her help the women received basic knowledge about the Islamic religion- main aspects of fiqh, practical training for making ablution, learning general supplications for performing the five-time prayer and others.

     “The group was from the minorities – very pure and sincere women. Most of them attended for a first time such kind of workshop and expressed their great satisfaction and gratitude for the opportunity to come.” – shared for Grandmufti.bg the preacher Myumine Sherifova from the town of Rudozem.

     For their participation in the workshop the women from the town of Gotse Delchev received assistance from Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad.

  At the end of the two-day event all participants expressed readiness and willingness to join also in a more-comprehensive and a longer-lasting training, related to the Islamic religion.
