Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held its monthly meeting with imams from the region

 

Another working meeting with the imams from Plovdiv region held Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv on 22nd of March, 2017.

The meeting which was attended by 20 people was opened with recitation of a passage of Qur’an-Kerim by Dorsun Hodzha.

Within the working meeting were discussed a number of issues. Among the most topical of them were the upcoming festive celebrations of Lailat al Mi'raj and Kutlu Dogum and their organization in Plovdiv. At the meeting was clarified that Lailat al Mi'raj will be on 23rd of April and in the celebration on Kutlu Dogum in the city under the hills participation will take students from the High Islamic Institute in Sofia.

During the meeting was raised the question about the participation of the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv in the contest of Grand Mufti’s Office for memorization of two ajza (parts) of the Qur’an in which will be able to take part imams from the entire country. The preparation of the religious leaders will continue till the beginning of the month of Ramadan during which will be held also the contest itself.

During the meeting were also discussed the issues related to the updating the attestation cards of the imams, supporting through donations the Training course for imams in the village of Ustina, as well as the effectiveness of the dissemination of the print publications of Grand Mufti’s Office in Plovdiv region.

The imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv made an analysis of the carried out year-round and summer Qur’an courses in the region. Within their meeting they also discussed the participation in the settlements in the carried out social campaigns of the Muslim Denomination.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for grace and guidance of all of us, made by the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli.
