Capital’s Mufti’s Office held a meeting with imams and boards of trustees

On 14th of February, 2017 Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia held a joint meeting with the imams and the representatives of the Muslim Boards of Trustees in the region. The meeting was attended by all imams at the mufti’s office and the majority of the representatives of the Muslim Boards of Trustees.

The participants made a summary analysis of the religious activities in the last three months, the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine, the dissemination of the publications of the Muslim Denomination and the social campaigns ‘Orphans’ week”, for the victims in the village of Hitrino and that for supporting the training course for imams in the village of Ustina.

Special attention was paid to the petition against the attempts and the steps to restrict the rights of the Muslims in Bulgaria. In the framework of the working meeting was prepared also a strategy for the summer Qur’an courses, raising funds for the Islamic education and recruitment of students for the secondary religious schools and students for the High Islamic Institute – Sofia.

The meeting ended with setting definite tasks with a deadline for their implementation and a dua (supplication) for blessing and success in the work.
