Committee on “Irshad” held its first meeting for year 2017

On 8th of February (Wednesday) was held the first for year 2017 meeting of the Committee on “Irshad” at the Supreme Muslim Council. It took place in the premises of Grand Mufti’s Office.

Main topic on the agenda of the meeting was the discussion of the year-round and the summer Qur’an courses for children, youths and adults which are carried out at the regional mufti’s offices in the country. There was also discusses the thematic plan foreseen for the year-round and the summer Qur’an courses.

In the framework of the meeting it was unanimously concluded that there should be worked for the better development of the Qur’an courses in order to make them more attractive and desired places from the young Muslims.

The participants in the meeting also took into account that this program has to be consistent with the modern reality and the needs of the Muslims in the country. Taking into consideration the fact that up to now there were no Rules of the activities in the Qur’an courses, the members made an unanimous decision to prepare such. There were also discussed issues related to the vision, the mission and the strategy of the Qur’an courses.

The first of year 2017 meeting of the Committee on “Irshad” at the Supreme Muslim Council ended with a dua (supplication) for more fruitful work in 2017.
