Islamic bookstore opened doors in Kardzhali

On 17th of November, 2014 the Regional Mufti’s Office held a working meeting with imams from the region. Official guest of the meeting was Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi – Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria. It was also attended by the regional muftis of Haskovo and Krumovgrad. The meeting was opened with recitation of verses from the Qur’an by the imam of the mosque in the village of Byal izvor Arslan Hayrula. The Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Mr. Beyhan Mehmed presented the agenda of the meeting to the imams. After that the floor was given to the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, who welcomed the imams and after that emphasized on the responsibility and the seriousness of being an imam nowadays. A very important point of the agenda of the meeting was the official opening of the first in the country Islamic bookstore. The ribbon was cut together by the Grand Mufti the regional muftis of Haskovo, Kardzhali and Krumovgrad, where along with them was also the MP Mr. Shabanali Ahmed. The opening was also attended by the Director and the Deputy Director of SRS – Momchilgrad. The Regional Mufti of Kardzhali thanked the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi for the provided support for the establishment of this important for the Muslims in the region acquisition and wished success to this initiative.
