With a religious celebration was mark the completion of the courses for imams in Shumen and Ustina

On 19th of December, 2016 Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos hosted a celebration on the occasion of the completing of the one-year courses for training of imam hatibs in the city of Shumen and in the village of Ustina, Plovdiv region. The celebration took place in the mosque of the city of Aytos where the participants in the courses from Shumen and Ustina performed a common religious program which included reading of verses from Qur’an-i Kerim and performance of religious songs.

Official guests of the event were Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi – Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria, Vedat Ahmed – Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Burgas – Niyazi Akyol, Dr. Ulvi Ata – Social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Sofia, the Mufti of Edirne Emrullah Üzüm as well as the regional muftis of Aytos, Sliven, Shumen, Varna. Razgrad, Stara Zagora, Kardzhali, Haskovo and Plovdiv.

After the offered congratulations on behalf of the Grand Mufti and the other guests the graduates of the one-year course, 30 people in total, received their certificates. The celebration ended with dua (supplication) made by the Grand Mufti of the country Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi.
