Grand Mufti’s Office held its annual workshop meeting for the employees of the Institution

For another year Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen and the religious school “Nyuvvab” in the city hosted the annual workshop meeting for employees of the administration of Grand Mufti’s Office and those from the regional mufti’s offices. The three-day program took place between 16th and 18th of December.

Despite of the busy schedule at the end of the year the employees of the Muslim Denomination led by the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed managed to make full use of the weekend with a substantial program of organizational meetings and training for improving team relations.

The traditional meeting as usual gave the opportunity of the employees to communicate face to face, to get acquainted closer and to comment on operational issues related to arising cases in the organizational activities of the Denomination.

“To see who we are and where we are, the work we do is with the capacity of the work done by many more employees that in fact are working in the system” – said the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi in his welcoming address and added that the work is done thanks to the shown patience and sincerity of the employees and last but not least – thanks to the Blessing of Allah.

“We have before us one big task and it is to increase the trust of the people in the Institution” – said Vedat Ahmed in his address to the employees and added that unlike the others – the religious institutions should be much more trusted by the society.

In the program were presented short reports on behalf of the departments of Grand Mufti’s Office and on behalf of the regional mufti’s offices. The aroused discussions put the right direction of solution and overcoming the organizational problems. There was discussed the plan-schedule for the activities of the Denomination and the draft budget for the upcoming year 2017.

At the end of the three-day program all participants in the meeting – imams and muftis read mawlid-i sheriff and made dua (supplication) in the memory of the victims from Hitrino. The memory of the victims was honored from the employees of the Muslim Denomination after the evening prayer in the mosque in Shumen “Kalyak”.

After the workshop meeting for the employees of Grand Mufti’s Office was officially closed the members of the Supreme Muslim Council held its regular meeting.
