Students from the Islamic Institute participated in “Orphans’ week”
The students from the High Islamic Institute – Sofia in cooperation with the Regional Mufti’s Office in the capital organized and carried out a charity bazaar to support “Orphans’ week”. The event took place on 25th of November this year in front of the central mosque of Sofia. This noble deed united people from different ethnicities, religions and social status. Thanks to the joined efforts of all in the framework of the initiative were collected 1125 (one thousand one hundred and twenty five) leva for “Orphans” Fund at Grand Mufti’s Office.
Regional Mufti’s Office Sofia expresses heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part, to the main organizers – the students from HII, to Sofia Municipality for the kind assistance, to SMIAD (Sofia Municipality Interior Affairs Directorate) and to all who financially and morally helped to carry out this good deed.
