Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan held a regular meeting with imams

On 27^th of October, 2016 Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan held a regular meeting with the imams from Smolyan region where official guests were the Deputy Grand mufti of the country Ahmed Hasanov and the Head of “Irshad” Department Halil Hodzhov. The meeting took place in the administrative building of Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan.

 The Regional Mufti Nedzhmi Dabov made an analysis of the past summer Qur’an courses and focused on this the imams to make efforts to make these courses year-round. According to the delivered report in Smolyan region operate 36 year-round Qur’an courses with the possibility to become 40. It was planned also the delivering of the traditional weekly lectures during the autumn-winter season in 15 mosques in the region.

The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov greeted the imams for the efforts which they make in the difficult task to preach the Islamic religion in the society in the present dynamic times and gave them instructions as a priority to work with children and youth for understanding their identity and learning about the Islamic values.

The imams emphasized on the necessity to focus more resources and efforts into the teaching activity in the Qur’an courses for achieving higher efficiency.
