Islamic Institute in service of the entire society

The Islamic Institute opened its doors fore the new academic year 2016-2017 on 3^rd of October, 2016

Guests of the event were the SMC Chairman Vedat Ahmed, the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Muftis Birali Birali and Ahmed Hasanov, the Regional Mufti of Sofia Mustafa Izbishtali, the Social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia Ulvi Ata and the Educational affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia Şenol Genç.

“The graduates of the Islamic Institute are not only beneficial for the Muslims but for the entire society”, said the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi

“The Islamic Institute is unique for the territory of Bulgaria because it is the only one and despite its small scale. Most of the people who are working in the Muslim Denomination are its graduates”, said the SMC Chairman.

“Today we are witnessing how people hiding behind religion can have different mercenary aims. That is why we face the huge responsibility to represent religion in the best way in order to deal with the contemporary difficulties and challenges” – with these words Dr. Ulvi Atta addressed all.

With wishes for fruitful and successful year the students proceeded to their classes.
