Grand Mufti delivered a lecture in the village of Startsevo on the topic “The responsibility of the Muslim”

On 24^th of September, 2016 in the village of Startsevo, Municipality of Zlatograd, was held a qurban for all the village at which the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi delivered a lecture on the topic “The responsibility of the Muslim”. In his lecture he emphasized on the responsibility of every Muslim for the preservation and the dissemination of the Islamic religion. Dr. Hadzhi recalled how our ancestors had realized this responsibility and bequeathed religion to us in order to pass it to the next generations”.

The Grand Mufti was accompanied by the Regional Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov, the Deputy Mufti of the municipalities of Zlatograd and Nedelino Selvi Karaosmanov, the Director of the course for hafizes in the town of Madan hafiz Shefket Murad, as well as imams and representatives of the Muslim boards of trustees in the region.

The qurban was attended by 2500 people who received lunch provided with money from the population of the village of Startsevo.
