Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a meeting with imams from the region

A regular meeting was held in the central mosque of the city of Kardzhali and was attended by imam from the region. The meeting was opened and chaired by the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Mr. Beyhan Mehmed. During the meeting were addressed a number of current topics and problems. There was taken a stock on the past campaign for support of the Islamic education and were outlined directions for reaching a larger number of people in order to activate this campaign in a greater extent. A special place was dedicated to the topic related to the summer Qur’an courses and the related with them regional and national competition in Basic knowledge in Islam. The Regional Mufti urged the imams who lead summer Qur’an courses to inform the students and their parents for the upcoming regional competition which will be held on 30^th of August, 2016 in SRS – Momchilgrad. The imams were also informed that Grand Mufti’s Office organizes a summer workshop for students from the summer Qur’an courses in SRS – Momchilgrad within the period from 15^th till 21^st of August, 2016. The Regional Mufti made clarifications regarding the upcoming qurban campaign, organized by Grand Mufti’s Office. After completing the agenda the meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health, peace and prosperity, made by the imam of the village of Krilatitsa.
