Prayer for rain was performed in the area of Baba Kondu near Targovishte
On 31st of July, 2016 was performed a public prayer for rain, organized by the Muslim Board of Trustees – Bratovo, in the area of Baba Kondu. A special guest of the event was the Regional Mufti of Targovishte Enver Yahov, as well as the guest-imams from Turkey Ibrahim Korkmaz and Irfan Akti. The prayer was also attended by many guests from the neighboring and the surrounding villages. The program included several lectures. Enver Yahov made vaaz (sermon) on the topic “Benefit of the summer Qur’an courses”, and Ibrahim Korkmaz spoke on the topic “Conditions of faith”. Irfan Akti provoked thoughts on the topic “Do living conditions nowadays coincide with the conditions of Islam”.
The event ended with a dua (supplication) made by Enver Yahov.
Prayers for rain were made also in the village of Zelena Morava on 24th of July, 2016, organized respectively by the local branches of the Muslim Denomination.
