Results of the contest for literary work and drawing “The mosque in my life” are already announced
A contest for writing an essay or a poem and for a drawing on the topic “The mosque in my life” was held within the initiative “Week of the mosques” which took place in all the country between 13th and 19th of October. The participants had to submit their works until 19th of October, 2014.
26 drawings and 3 poems in total were sent for the contest from throughout the country.
The task of the committee which had to select the best was not easy at all.
In the category “Drawing of children between 6 and 13 years old” were nominated 3 drawings. The committee ranked at first place Selman Hasanov. At second place was ranked Metie Hodzhova, and the third place was taken by Meri Chikurteva.
In the category “Drawing of children between 14 and 18 years old” 5 drawings in total were selected, among which the committee ranked at first place Nahide Tahir, at second place – Byushra Ahmateva, and at third – Firdevs Uzun.
The winners in the different categories will receive prizes at the amount of 150 leva for first place, 100 leva for second and 50 leva for third place.
In the category “Poems” winners were not selected. The awarding committee decided each of the participants to receive an incentive prize.
All who took part in the contest but were not ranked will have the opportunity to see their works on the pages of “Muslims” magazine. Furthermore all of them will receive also the book issued by the Grand Mufti’s Office “I am one small Muslim” as incentive rewards for their participation in the contest.
