Month of Ramadan in the capital

Days go by, months change and here that just few days ago we welcomed the most blessed month and now we are in its last days. The month of mercy, forgiveness and winning the satisfaction of the Almighty Allah. At the beginning of Ramadan we thanked the Creator of the Worlds for we are among those people who again eagerly waited this great month. Now we try to do as many as possible good and righteous deeds, because the reward is much greater in comparison with the other time.

During the present Ramadan with the Will of the Almighty Allah at five different places in the capital every evening are given iftars and tarawih prayer is performed. More than a thousand people, men, women, children, poor and rich, Muslims and non-Muslims, different in ethnicity people, diplomats and ordinary citizens, side by side participate in the traditional iftar dinner in the central mosque of Sofia “Banya Bashi” and in the masjids in the quarters of “Lyulin”, “Botunets”, “Orlandovtsi” and in the village of Svetovrachene. A picture that cannot be seen, except in Ramadan. Of course for the implementation of this hizmet are made great efforts by the imams, the Muslim Boards of Trustees an many volunteers, for which Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia expresses its warmest and sincere gratitude and may the Almighty accept these their efforts and reward them repeatedly both in this world and in the Hereafter.

May the Almighty make us among those who constantly perform ibadah only for Him, may He accept our good deeds and guides us towards doing more such deeds, may this month be mercy, forgiveness and salvation from the Hellfire for all believers!
