So hasten towards all that is good

On the eve of the holy month of Ramadan Grand Mufti’s Office was visited by representatives of the charitable foundation “Hasene”.

The aim of their visit was the implementation of a project related to disadvantaged people. The foundation actively participates in the social activities of the Muslim Denomination and supports different projects such as humanitarian packages, iftar dinners, slaughtering qurbans and supporting orphans.

This year the project covers all regional mufti’s offices and priority will be given to the orphans supported by the Muslim Denomination.

12 centers are foreseen to be visited within the project. It is expected that 1000 families will benefit from this campaign.

The group was welcomed by the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali who expressed gratitude and satisfaction with the worthy example of cooperation and assistance. Thanks to these initiatives that started years ago by different external organizations today the Muslims in Bulgaria also organize their campaigns and participate very actively in the social projects of the Denomination.

An obvious example is the implementation of the project for supporting orphans. For three years the children from 9 today are numbering over 200.
