Celebrating Kutlu Dogum with children in Shumen
Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen in cooperation with Muslim Board of Trustees in the city of Shumen organized a program on the occasion of the Week of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on 22nd of April, 2016 (Friday) in the mosque Sherif Halil Pasha (Tombul Mosque) together with the children from the city and the neighboring settlements. It was attended by more than 90 children with their parents. The aim of the event was the children along with their parents to learn about the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The program began with salawat and recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim and continued with poems and ilyahi performed by the children. Erdinch Mollamehmed and Dzhelil Dzhelil organized various entertaining games aiming to remember the name of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Regional Mufti Mesut Mehmedov greeted all attendees and gave all children gifts. The program ended with treats for the children and the parents.
