Qur’an-i-Kerim is guidance for everyone who wants to live happily

On 25^th of October, 2014 in the Drama theater “Ivan Radoev” in the city of Pleven the Regional Mufti’s Office for a third consecutive year organized a competition for the children from the summer Qur’an courses under the title ”Let`s meet with the Holy Qur’an”. Despite the snowfall and the bad weather there were more than 300 people in the hall. The children from the region of the mufti’s office did a test with which they showed their knowledge gained during the summer Qur’an courses. Official guests of the event were the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali, the MP Mithat Metin, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv – Alper Aktaş, the MP from the Republic of Turkey – Mustafa Öztürk and many reputable guests. The event was also attended by the social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia – Dr. Ulvi Ata with gifts for all the participants.

“Qur’an-i-Kerim is guidance for everyone who wants to live happily. In order to benefit from the Qur’an one should read, understand and apply it”, said the Grand Mufti in a welcoming speech to the competitors, their parents and the guests. He gave an example for the role of the education of the children and its relation to the forgiveness of the parents on the Judgment Day.

After the test with highest score at first place was ranked Borislav Asenov from the Qur’an course in the town of Knezha, at the second place was ranked Aysel Ruzhdi, at third place Aylin Ruzhdi and at forth place Aliyana Ivova.
