Working meeting with imams from Pazardzhik

Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik held another working meeting with the imams from the region on 22^nd of November, 2015 from 10:00 o’clock in the mosque of the town of Velingrad. Official guest of the meeting was the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the Chief Legal Advisor of the Muslim Denomination Asan Imamov.

The meeting began with recitation of Qur’an-i Kerim by Muhammed Hadzhi, imam of the new mosque in the village of Draginovo. After thanking for the wonderful recitation the Regional Mufti Abdullah Salih informed the participants with the agenda of the meeting. First was made a comprehensive analysis of the held in the mufti’s office summer Qur’an courses and the participation in the regional competition. The results of the campaigns, carried out of the Denomination and the raised funds from them were reported, after which was raised the question for the most active participation of all in the upcoming “Orphans’ week” organized by Grand Mufti’s Office under the motto “Give compassion, not alms”. The issue related to the increasing the number of subscribers for “Muslims” magazine was also discussed. After that the floor was given to the Chief Legal Advisor of the Muslim Denomination Asan Imamov who informed the imams about the current status of the Denomination. In his speech the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi focused on the responsibility of the imams in the present circumstances and the challenges which the Muslim community faces. The Regional Mufti thanked all for their efforts and for taking the time to participate in the working meeting.
