Regional Mufti of Sofia met with the students in the High Islamic Institute

“In the face of today’s students from the High Islamic Institute – Sofia I see responsible, capable and what is most important sincerely willing to work for the benefit of the Muslims young people, and that is why the doors of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia are widely open for you and you are always welcome there”, said Mr. Izbishtali during the meeting with the students.

In connection with the coming “Orphans’ week” the Regional Mufti held a meeting with the students from HII. It was organized by the Student Council at HII. Mr. Izbishtali briefly informed the students with the activities of “Orphans” fund at Grand Mufti’s Office, the raised and the distributed money (about one hundred thousand leva) to the orphans throughout the country.

“The raised considerable amount for the present year in “Orphans” Fund is not a result only of our efforts and possibilities, but mostly thanks to the sensitivity of the Muslim community to these defenseless children – orphans”, further said the Regional Mufti. Beside the “Orphans’ week” during the meeting were also discussed different projects for joint work in the future.

The students in their turn expressed gratitude for the responsiveness of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia in the joint activities that they have.
