Regional Mufti`s Office – Smolyan held a workshop with candidates for pilgrimage of Hajj

At the initiative of Grand Mufti`s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria on 26th of August, 2015, Regional Mufti`s Office – Smolyan held training workshop with candidates for pilgrimage of Hajj from the region. The workshop was opened with a lecture on the topic: „Wisdom and benefits of the pilgrimage of Hajj“, given by Hayri Sherifov – imam of the town of Rudozem and a member of the Regional Muslim Council. The lecturer emphasised on the sincere intention and showing patience and good character during the performance of the fifth pillar of Islam – Hajj. Sherifov explaned the conditions for accepting the Hajj as well as for its proper performance.
The Regional Mufti of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov informed the participants in the workshop
about the program of Hajj 2015, prepared by Grand Mufti`s Office and explained the more important moments which should be taken into consideration.
He assured the participants that the Organizational team of Grand Mufti’s Office for Hajj 2015 will make every effort in order to make their stay in the holy lands maximum facilitated. The Mufti said that besides the obligatory rites there is a varied program prepared for the Hajj pilgrims, which includes lectures, visit of historical sites in Mecca and Medina related to personalities and events from the Islamic history.
