„Мaide-IKur’an“ took place in the mosque of the village of Benkovski

For third consecutive year Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali in cooperation with the Muslim Board of Trustees organized a festive event “Maide-iKuran” (meaning “Qur’anic table”).
The program was held in the mosque of the village of Benkovski on 3rd of June, 2015, Wednesday, from 11:00 o’clock.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed. He was accompanied by the deputy mufti Erhan Redzheb and the Regional Mufti of Krumovgrad Nasuf Halil.
Famous Qur’an reciters from several countries, namely Turkey, Serbia, Pakistan, Macedonia and Germany joined the event. The attendees of the event were extremely fascinated by their skills in reciting the Holy Book.
The program was varied by performances of ilyahi. The guests had the opportunity to visit the famous mosque “Yedikizlar”, as well as the office building of Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali from where they departed for Romania.
