Nearly 200 children were circumcised in Shumen

Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen organized free of charge circumcision – sunnet in the mosque “Sherif Halil Pasha” (Tombul mosque) on 3rd of June, 2015. Guests of the Regional Mufti’s Office especially for the event were Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi – Grand Mufti of Bulgaria, MasharBilgin – Vice President of “Diyanet Vakfı” – Turkey, Dr. Ulvi Ata – social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, regional muftis from neighboring to Shumen villages, mayors of municipalities and others.
The event which has become a tradition was organized for tenth consecutive year. During the sunnet this year nearly 200 children from the region of Shumen were circumcised. The circumcision was done by the experienced hands of the longtime professional in this field Dr. Lyutvi Mehmed.
