A workshop meeting for the heads of the Qur’an courses and the preachers in Northern Bulgaria was held in Targovishte. It was entitled “How to work with the children and the young generation in the future so that they will not forget their religious values” and was held in three panels.

The nine participants were from the cities of Targovishte, Shumen and Ruse. The event took place in Cultural Center “DOKUMER” – Targovishte. Guests of the workshop were the Deputy Grand Mufti of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria – Ahmed Hasanov, Mr. Nezif Rasimov – Regional Mufti of Targovishte, the Chief coordinator of the Qur’an courses Mr. Bahri Izzet, and Dr. Selime Hasanova – a lecturer at the Higher Islamic Institute.

The aim of the workshop was to exchange information and professional experience between the heads of the Qur’an courses and the preachers from Northern Bulgaria.
