Working meeting of imams from Pazardzhik region

Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik held another working meeting with the imams from the region on 5th of April, 2015 from 10:30 o’clock in the mosque of the town of Velingrad. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria. The meeting began with recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim from Ahmed Ramadan who is imam of the town of Kostandovo for many years. After thanking for the wonderful recitation the Regional Mufti Abdullah Salih informed the participants about the issues discussed within the previous sessions of SMC. After the comprehensive analysis of the discussed issues it was proceeded to the report on the funds collected for the school for imams training in the village of Ustina. It became known from the report that the collected amount is 2970,15 leva, and the Muslim Board of Trustees of the town of Sarnitsa, quarter Shabanali has the highest amount of collected amount of 758.00 leva. After thanking for the successful campaign it was proceeded to outlining the measures for more active participation of the Muslims from the region in the upcoming events on the occasion of the week of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In his speech Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi stressed on the responsibility of the imams in the current situation and the challenges which the Muslim community faces. At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti thanked all imams for their diligence and work which they do in their daily activities.
