On September 8, 2020 (Tuesday) in the mosque of the village of Smirnenski, 14 children from the summer Qur’an course there presented plays and recited verses from the Qur’an, together with their teacher Bayrie Ahmedova.

There also were the Regional Mufti of Ruse – Mr. Yudzhel Hyusnyu, the Mayor of the Municipality of Vetovo – Dr. Mehmed Mehmed, the Deputy Mayor Nermin Kyazimova, the Mayor of the village of Smirnenski – Mrs. Asie Eminova, the Director of PS “P.R. Slaveykov” Mrs. Ayshe Sivrieva and the Director of RS – Ruse Tundzhay Sherif.

The program began with recitation of verses from the children who participated in the summer Qur’an courses, then the floor was given to the Regional Mufti of Ruse – Mr. Yudzhel Hyusnyu. He focused on the importance of the courses and expressed gratitude to the parents, the children and the teachers, the Muslim board of trustees and everyone who have contributed to this good initiative. The Director of the religious school in Ruse presented in brief information about the school.

“You brought me back in the years when we also were attending such courses.” shared the Municipal Mayor Dr. Mehmed. The Mayor of the village Mrs. Asie Eminova and the Director of PS “P.R. Slaveykov” expressed gratitude to the teacher and the Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse in the persons of the Regional Mufti Mr. Yudzhel Hyusnyu for the work with the children from the village of Smirnenski.

The children from the summer Qur’an course touched the audience with their moving performances. At the end gifts were given to the kids. The event ended with a dua (supplication) made by the Regional Mufti.
