On September 2, 2020 (Wednesday) in the “Sahat” mosque in Targovishte was held a competition in basic knowledge in Islam, in which participated 30 students from different settlements.

A special guest from Grand Mufti’s Office was the Deputy Grand Mufti Mr. Ahmed Hasan Bahadar. The jury was in the following composition: Mr. Tundzhay Sherif – Director of RS – Ruse, Mr. Alper Ahmed and Mr. Osman Ibrahimov – teacher in RS “Nyuvvab” in the city of Shumen.

The Regional Mufti of Targovishte – Mr. Naif Rasimov delivered a welcoming address, and the expert from “Irshad” Department – Mr. Nutfi Nutfiev was the presenter of the program.

“The young people who drink water from the taps in the mosque and breathe air from the atmosphere there become very different people. You will see it in the future.” – Mr. Ahmed Hasan Bahadar motivated the youths with his words. “The competition today is a symbolic one, you are all winners once you are here.” – Mr. Nazif Rasimov inspired confidence in the children.

All children received gifts. At first place ranked Sevil Sedatova from the village of Bayachevo, she received a bicycle. At second place was Hasan Ilhan from the village of Strazha, and at third place – Shener Mutfiev from the village of Ruets.

There was also expressed gratitude to all teachers and parents for their efforts. At the end there was a joint photo as a memory.
