Dean of Faculty of Theology at the University of Kirklareli visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dalkılıç – Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the University of the Turkish city of Kirklareli met with the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed. The meeting was held on 29th of March, 2015 (Sunday) at the premises of the Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali.
The high-standing guest from Turkey was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the religious school in Kirkareli – Mustafa Keskin. On behalf of the Bulgarian side the meeting was attended also by Shabanali Ahmed, MP from MRF for the region of Kardzhali.
The Regional Mufti thanked his guests for their visit and presented them detailed information regarding the religious life of the Muslims on the region and the functions, carried out by the Regional Mufti’s Office. Beyhan Mehmed gave each of the guests a symbolic gift – a miniature model of the “Yedi Kizlar” Mosque.
After the meeting the guests visited the recently opened Islamic bookstore, located in the yard of the mosque in Kardzhali. After that they proceeded to SRS – Momchilgrad and the “Yedi Kizlar” Mosque in the village of Podkova.
