The Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov officially greeted the Muslim community on the occasion of the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
“Today begin the holy for the Muslims month of Ramadan. I greet all Muslim friends and I wish them health, peace and welfare. Let kindness and unity help us to go together through these difficult days of trial. Be strong! The holy month of Ramadan this year will be different. But the more responsible we are, the sooner we will return to the usual way of life.” –the Prime Minister wrote in his profile on Facebook.
“This is not accepted as a departure from the principles of Islam. On the contrary – Islamic religion aims to protect five things and one of them is the health and the life of people. In this sense, by adhering to these principles and not gathering at one place in order to protect the health and the life of people, we do not violate the principles of Islam, and observe them as they are.” – said the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi in his official video address to the Muslim community on the occasion of the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
