At the initiative of Regional Mufti’s Office – Dobrich and Muslim Board of Trustees – Dobrich, the procedure for securing and repairing the minaret of the mosque “Hadzhi Osman” in the town of Dobrich officially began. After routine inspection of the condition of the mosque, distortions of the plaster and the construction of the minaret was found, which prompted urgently to begin the process for its reinforcing.

“Regional Mufti’s Office – Dobrich undertook urgent measures regarding the securing and the reinforcing of the minaret. This happens with the assistance of Grand Mufti’s Office and with own funds of Muslim Board of Trustees – Dobrich. The reinforcement of the entire construction of the minaret includes steps such as construction with dowel mesh, spraying and plaster, and painting.” – commented for Grandmufti.bg from the management of the mufti’s office in Dobrich. According to them it is foreseen that the entire repair and the reinforcement of the minaret of the mosque “Hadzhi Osman” will be completed by the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan.
