The Night of Raghaib from the month of Rajab was celebrated in the night between Thursday and Friday this week with festive religious programs and events in a number of mosques in the country.

The historical “Dzhumaya” mosque in the city center of Plovdiv enjoyed a great liveliness – filled with Muslims from the entire city and the surrounding settlements in Plovdiv region. Official guest of the celebration on Raghaib in the city under the hills was also the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, accompanied by a delegation from Grand Mufti’s Office. He used the occasion to greet the gathered Muslim community by making a brief reminder related to the importance of the three sacred months and the gracious days and nights during them, one of which is exactly the night of Raghaib.

The Muslims in Varna region also marked this gracious night from the month of Raghaib with organized religious programs that took place in the central “Azizie” mosque, in the mosque of Asparuhovo quarter, and in the central mosque of Provadia “Sara Hyusein”, as well as in the town of Suvorovo and in the village of Dabravino.

A festive program was organized yesterday also in the historical “Tombul” mosque in the city of Shumen. It was attended by local Muslims, representatives of the management and students from Religious School “Nyuvvab” in Shumen. The celebration was also attended by a delegation from the Department of Education at Grand Mufti’s Office.

Whether organized or not, the Muslims in the entire country spent that special night in sincere acts of worship to the Glorified and Exalted Allah and in contemplation.
