In connection with the beginning of the three sacred months Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna started weekly religious programs for the women from the local Muslim community. Twice a week will be held religious gatherings in the central mosque “Aziziye” in the city.

On the first day of the month of Rajab took place the first meeting for women in the mosque. It was led by Semiha Shukri – wife of the Regional Mufti Nuray Shukri, Arzu Kaplan – wife of the seconded from the Republic of Turkey imam Salih Kaplan, and Pembe Mazlam from Asparuhovo quarter.

“They presented to all nearly 20 attendees information about the importance and the significance of the three sacred months, the main things related to them, and the acts of worship that are good to be done in these gracious days” – commented for Grandmufti.bg the Secretary of the Mufti’s Office in Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed.

Besides the held discussion the Muslim women from Varna made also tasbihat.

The religious gatherings for women in the maritime capital will be held every week, on Tuesday and Thursday, and will continue during the entire 3-month period.
