The Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council (SMC) Vedat Ahmed, accompanied by the Head of “Waqf” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Hasan Yuseinov, had an official visit to the Directorate General of Awqaf in the Republic of Turkey. During the visit which took place on February 20 this year, the delegation from Grand Mufti’s Office met with the Deputy Director of the Directorate General of Awqaf in the Republic of Turkey

“During the meeting were discussed issues related to the need of restoration of existing waqf property in our country. There were also considered the possibilities for cooperation between the two institutions in the field of training the staff of the Muslim Denomination in administration and management of the modern waqf (endowment). – Hasan Yuseinov commented for Grandmufti.bg after the meeting.
