A day after a held joint working meeting of the teams of the regional mufti’s offices of Pazardzhik and Blagoevgrad, on February 13 (Thursday) this year was held also a joint working meeting of the regional Muslim councils of Pazardzhik and Blagoevgrad. The working meeting was also attended by the spiritual leader of the Muslims in Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi.

During the meeting the members of the two regional Muslim councils made an analysis of their work so far, overviewed the future programs on their activities, taking into consideration the positives and negatives of the work so far and how to strengthen its efficiency.

“We made a detailed overview of the program for 2020, and the focus was on the reporting of the financial situation of the boards of trustees and the actual condition of the mosques. We discussed in details the ideas of how to improve the financial discipline in the Muslim boards of trustees in the two regions.” – commented for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed.

According to him one of the important discussions during the meeting was related to the project “Innovative activities in the Muslim Denomination”.

“The project “Innovative activities in the Muslim Denomination” foresees the introduction of innovations and innovative methodology in the Qur’an courses, in the field of the “Irshad” related activities. In this way, for example, one of the ideas is how to change the format in which the religious lectures are regularly held till now. We are planning to continue them in the form of workshops, with a larger duration and there to be the possibility for all the members of the families from the Muslim community, including the children, to participate in them.” – explained Aydan Mohamed.

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi took an active part in the working meeting of RMC – Pazardzhik and RMC – Blagoevgrad, making interesting proposals and the participants in the meeting took the advantage of his advices for their work and the for the work of the two regional councils.
