Representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office participated in a working meeting with imams from Aytos region

Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos held its regular meeting with the imams for December, which was also attended by representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office from Sofia. Official guests of the working meeting were the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the Head of “Hajj” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Dzhemal Isa. The event took place on December 5 (Thursday) this year in the mosque of the town of Aytos.

After the working meeting was officially opened with recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim all participants were informed about the agenda by the host Selyatin Muharem – Regional Mufti of Aytos.

The focus in the discussions was on the activities of the imams. The Muslim clerics took the opportunity to ask their questions on this topic and they were discussed in details. The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov informed the participants about the upcoming training courses and meetings with imams, which the Muslim Denominating is going to hold in 2020.

The Head of “Hajj” Department Dzhemal Isa made a detailed presentation on the campaigns of Grand Mufti’s Office for the upcoming pilgrimage of Umrah, which will take place in January 2020, as well as for Hajj 2020.

During the meeting were also discussed the results of the campaign in support of the orphans and the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine.

“The national campaign “Orphans’ Week” was officially closed, but the fundraising in the region has not finished yet. In the framework of the campaign we held several meetings at a regional level with the orphaned children. They were visited by our employees and delighted with gifts.
