Strategic analysis of regional mufti’s offices

Regional Muftis from the country held a workshop within three days at the end of the last week, where they analyzed the work of Grand Mufti’s Office (GMO) and the regional mufti’s offices (RMO).
The strategy analysis which was carried out based on the management and the staff of Grand Mufti’s Office gave its positive response and went on the next level – regional mufti’s offices.
The workshop was attended by all 21 regional muftis and the management of the Grand Mufti’s Office. Each of the participants took an active part in the analysis of the activities of the Muslim Denomination in the face of GMO and RMO.
The regional muftis represented clear and concrete measures for the better performance of the institution.
“Such kind of meetings provide opportunity for open dialogue between the management staff of the Denomination which is a precondition for rallying and averting any kind of conflicts and discord “ said one of the regional muftis.
The chairman of the workshop Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan – a sociologist and a lecturer at the University of Sakarya expressed his satisfaction with the activity and the frankness of the regional muftis and noted that few institutions provide opportunity for such kind of analytical and constructive activities. The methodology of the extended SWOT analysis, applied during the workshop showed that the effect of such events is positive, but requires regularity.
