Grand Mufti took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the National holiday March 3

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi took part in the celebration on the occasion on March 3, National holiday of Bulgaria. Together with His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte, the representatives of the other religious denominations and official guests they attended the national flag raising ceremony in front of the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and the official check in front of the Monument to the Tsar Liberator. The religious leaders and official guests attended also the reception on the occasion of the National holiday, host of which was the President Rosen Plevneliev.
“Let us preserve and strengthen Bulgarian statehood and the European perspective. In the foundations of the Bulgarian statehood is inbuilt the spirit of the Renaissance with its bright sense of duty to nation and fatherland.” This said the President Rosen Plevneliev in his speech during the solemn check on the occasion of the National holiday March 3. The Head of state expressed confidence that in our century of tests and challenges we will preserve the Revival striving to forge our pride of place in the European family and to be equal to the other European nations. “We will not spare efforts to preserve and strengthen the Bulgarian statehood. We owe it to our ancestors who dreamed, worked and shed their blood for it. We owe it to our children”, said the President Rosen Plevneliev.
