Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Faruk Kaymakcı visited Grand Mufti’s Office

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Faruk Kaymakcı visited Grand Mufti’s Office on July 23 (Tuesday), 2019. His visit was held in the framework of the official visit to Bulgaria on the occasion of the service of the contracts to beneficiaries of the second call for project proposal under the INTERREG-IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria – Turkey 2014-2020 in the Ministry of the Regional Development and Public Works.

During the visit the Deputy Minister Kaymakcı informed the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi about the programs for cross-border cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey. In his turn the Grand Mufti thanked for the shown honor and wished success and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

This was the second consecutive visit of the Deputy Minister to Grand Mufti’s Office for the recent two months. As a sign of respect and appreciation the Grand Mufti presented to his guest a gift – authentic hand-woven bag from the Rhodopes.
