Regional Muslim Council of Plovdiv convened a working meeting

The regional Muslim Council of Plovdiv held a regular working meeting on July 18, Thursday, this year. It took place at the headquarters of Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv and was attended by the Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli Aydan Yumerov, Ahmed Pehlivanov and Kemal Rashid.

The members of the Council discussed important topics and issues. Among them were the ongoing campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office “Let’s share our qurban” and studying the Islamic religion in the region of Plovdiv. The participants in the working meeting made a review of the results of the annual national campaign to support the Islamic education which took place during the month of Ramadan this year. Issues related to the Muslim prayer houses in the region of Plovdiv were also addressed.
