Grand Mufti’s Office sent the seconded for the month of Ramadan imams from the Republic of Turkey

On July 4, this year, the first day of Eid ul-Fitr were sent from Bulgaria the all 15 Turkish imams seconded to Bulgaria for one month from the Presidency on the Religious Affairs “Diyanet”. They were in Bulgaria during the sacred month of Ramadan, serving in different mosques at the regional mufti’s offices in the country.

Seven from the seconded employees flew to Turkey from Varna airport and the other seven – from Sofia airport.

“Before taking an official goodbye in Varna with the imams, who successfully completed their missions in Razgrad, Silistra, Ruse, Varna, Veliko Tanovo and Targovishte, we had organized a short farewell program in the mosque. The interim Regional Mufti of Varna Nuray Shukri and Şemsettin Şimşek – Social affairs attaché at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Burgas gave citations to the employees of the “Diyanet” – shared the Secretary of the mufti’s office Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed.

The imams were offered gratitude on behalf of the Muslim Denomination for their active work and successfully completed religious service during the month of Ramadan in our country, and they all received certificates.
