The team of the mufti’s office in Varna visited the Muslim community in the village of Dabravino 

On May 29 (Wednesday) this year the interim Regional Mufti of Varna Nuray Shukri, accompanied by the guest-imam from Turkey Bilyal Arslan and Fahredin Mollamehmed – Secretary at the mufti’s office visited the village of Dabravino (municipality of Avren).

The team of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna held a meeting with the women from the local Muslim community, which was organized by the imam of the village Veli Redzheb. Children from the local Qur’an course also participated.

During the meeting the guests focused on the importance of the sacred month of Ramadan. The women in turn shared about the problems of the local Muslim population. The guest-imam Bilyal Arslan read an excerpt of the Holy Qur’an and then ilyahi (religious songs) were performed.

“Within the National Donation Campaign for Social Assistance launched by Grand Mufti’s Office, entitled “Be hope for the needy” we distributed twelve food packages to Muslim families from the village of Dabravino. Another eight we distributed to needy people in the village of Popovich (Municipality of Byala)” – shared for Grandmufti.bg the Secretary of the mufti’s office in Varna Mollamehmed.
